Profile pipe
A profile pipe is a type of metal product that has a hollow internal space with a square or rectangular cross-section. Profile pipe is widely in demand in all areas of industry and agriculture; thanks to its shape, it is characterized by high mechanical strength, rigidity and durability with low weight due to its hollow shape. All these properties make it possible to lighten the weight of metal structures and significantly reduce the load on the foundation.
Profile pipes are made from carbon steels of ordinary or high-quality alloys (as well as alloyed ones). The cross-sectional shape can be either square, rectangular or oval. According to standards, profile pipes can be divided into groups with standardized mechanical properties and with standardized chemical composition, and there are also different strength classes, which are determined by the minimum yield strength of the steel used.
