The H.026.163 bearing cover is a cast iron (material SCh 20) element of the bearing assembly. Its main task is to close the bearing housing on the side where the shaft exits, and also to hold the sealing ring (oil seal).

This open (through) cover has a central hole through which the shaft passes. It not only protects the bearing (usually 11206) from dirt but also ensures the sealing of the shaft itself thanks to the seal installed in it. It is used in pairs with bearing housings H.026.058 and H.026.085 in the corresponding places of the structure where a shaft exit is required.
