The feeder reducer, also known as the cover with reducers ZP 02.300, is used in the loading conveyor (feeder) ZP 02.000 of ZM-60 grain throwers and their modifications.

The feeder reducer (Cover with Reducers ZP 02.300) is the entire assembly unit responsible for driving the two scraper chains of the loading conveyor. It is installed in the lower part of the grain thrower and performs two tasks - it reduces the rotational speed and transmits torque at a 90° angle to the drive sprockets of the chains.

Structurally, the ZP 02.300 unit consists of a massive carrier cover (platform) on which two independent reducers (left and right) are mounted. The central sprocket (ZS 1038) receives rotation from the drive and turns the long shaft (ZP 02.617), which passes through both reducers. In each reducer, a bevel gear set (ZPN 6011 + ZS 6029) transmits motion to a short output shaft (ZP 02.616), on which the chain's drive sprocket (ZS 1041) is installed. All shafts rotate on bearings in cast iron housings (ZP 02.106) and are lubricated by an oil bath.
