The self-propulsion mechanism ZP 07.000 is used in ZM-60 grain throwers (base model) and some of their modifications.

The self-propulsion mechanism ZP 07.000 (ZM-60 drive reducer) is a key unit responsible for driving the wheels and enabling the grain thrower to move independently during operation. This version of the reducer is a cylindrical two-stage reducer with a symmetrical arrangement of gears, providing one working speed.

Its main task is to reduce the high rotational speed coming from the drive and significantly increase the torque for transmission via a chain drive to the rear drive wheels (ZP 01.220).

Design Features of the Self-Propulsion Mechanism ZP 07.000:

• The housing is made of cast iron (SCh 20), it is of a split type (consisting of two halves), which facilitates access to internal parts for repair and maintenance. The parting plane coincides with the plane of the gear axes.
• All gears operate in an oil bath, and there is an inspection hole with a cover on the top of the housing for checking the level and filling oil.
