The suspension plank (spring OVB 9034) is a part used in the sieve bank assembly OVI 02.000 of OVS-25 grain cleaning machines and all their versions.

This part, commonly known as a "hanger" or "suspension plank," is an important component of the OVS-25 sieve bank suspension system. Although its catalog name is spring (OVB 9034), it is not actually a steel spring element, but a flexible leaf spring made of multilayer plywood (wood).

Both heavy sieve banks (upper and lower) are attached to the main frame on these exact planks (usually 8 pcs. per machine). Their design combines high strength with the necessary elasticity, allowing the banks to move freely and intensively (performing reciprocating motions) required for the effective grain cleaning process. At the same time, the planks effectively dampen (absorb) vibrations and are designed for millions of work cycles.

Variations of Planks for OVS-25

Since OVS-25 machines were produced by different factories over many years, their design is not completely unified. This also applies to the sieve bank suspension assembly, which is why the planks (springs) can differ in a key parameter - thickness.

• Standard dimensions (length 450 mm x width 60 mm) mostly remain unchanged.
• The main difference is thickness. There are two main types on the market: "thin" planks with a thickness of 10 mm and "thick" ones at 15 mm.

These two options are not interchangeable, so to guarantee full compatibility, we recommend accurately measuring the thickness of the planks installed on your OVS-25 modification before purchasing a new set.
