The OVI 06.100 drive reducer is a two-stage cylindrical reducer with an integrated two-speed shifting mechanism. Its main task is to reduce the high rotational speed from the electric motor and significantly increase the torque to transmit it to the drive wheels.

The presence of two speeds (shifted by a lever via the OVI 06.003 fork) allows the operator to select the optimal travel mode: a slow working pass alongside the heap and a faster transport pass for moving. Reverse (backward movement) is achieved by reversing the electric motor.
