Roller ZP 02.108 is used in the feeder lifting mechanism of ZM-60 grain throwers and their modifications.

The feeder roller (ZP 02.108) is a cast iron (material SCh 20) roller that is part of the system for lifting and lowering the loading feeders (left ZP 02.070 and right ZP 02.080) of the grain thrower.

Structurally, it is a casting with a groove ("channel") machined on the outer surface for a steel cable (rope) 4.0-1-SS-N-220. The roller is mounted on a special axle and rotates freely. In the ZM-60 system, four such rollers are used, which are attached to the feeder frames (ZP 02.040), as well as 1 on each feeder, attached to their frame. A cable, connected to the control handles, passes through these rollers, and it is thanks to this system of cables and rollers that the operator can easily lift and lower the heavy feeders.

Wear of the inner bore or the groove of the roller leads to difficult cable movement and incorrect operation of the lifting mechanism.
