Conveyor rollers are the main rotating units of a belt conveyor, designed to support the belt (both carrying and return strands) and provide it with the necessary profile (flat, trough, or V-shaped). It is the conveyor rollers that take on the entire weight load from the material being moved and ensure the smooth movement of the main line.
Although structurally a roller looks like a simple support, the stability of the entire line and the service life of the conveyor belt - one of the most expensive consumable parts of the conveyor - directly depend on the quality of its execution. For example, a violation of geometry (radial runout) causes vibration and "jumping" of the belt, which inevitably leads to product spillage and damage to mounting seats. In turn, bearing seizure turns the roller into a stationary obstacle that intensely scrubs the rubber-fabric web, creates excessive resistance for the motor, and in conditions of a dusty elevator - provokes dangerous local overheating.

Design Features of Our Conveyor Rollers
A critically important factor in the durability of a conveyor roller is the protection of the bearing unit from the external environment. In our products, we use reliable cast bearing housings (cast iron or steel), which are securely fixed in the tube. To prevent abrasive grain dust and moisture from getting into the grease, we apply a multi-stage protection system - we install closed-type bearings and, if necessary, additional labyrinth seals. This eliminates the risk of caking and mechanism seizure even when working in dusty elevator premises or on open threshing floors.
We pay special attention specifically to the geometry of our conveyor rollers. To avoid vibrations and premature wear, the connection of the housing to the tube (shell) is performed on centering equipment - this ensures high coaxiality and minimal radial runout of the roller during operation. Thanks to this, the belt moves smoothly, without jerks and vertical oscillations, which guarantees the preservation of grain or other bulk materials from spillage.
The roller shaft is made of quality calibrated steel (St 20, St 35, St 45) and depending on the design of your conveyor, we offer different options for shaft end machining:
- with flats (milled "for a wrench") - the most common option for quick drop-in mounting into frame slots without using tools.
- with internal thread - for rigid fixation of the roller to the frame using bolts.
