The brush (plank) 2G-04-25-30-920 is used in the sieve cleaning mechanism (sieve banks) of OVS-25 type machines and their modifications.

The brush (plank) (2G-04-25-30-920) is the main working element of the OVS-25 sieve bank cleaning system. Its task is to perform reciprocating movements directly under the sieves, effectively cleaning the openings of clogged impurities and grain. This prevents "clogging" and ensures stable high productivity and quality of grain heap cleaning.

Structurally, the brush is a long beam made of high-quality multilayer waterproof plywood. Bundles of strong, wear-resistant polymer bristles (pile) are securely packed into the base of the brush, which withstands intensive work and provides high wear resistance.

OVS-25 is a machine with a long history, which was produced by different factories. Because of this, the design of the cleaning mechanism and, consequently, the brushes themselves, may differ in various modifications. The main differences relate to:

1. Length, where historically, the standard brush length was 920 mm (which is reflected in the catalog number 2G-04-25-30-920). In later modifications of the machine, the design was changed, lengthening the brush to 950 mm (or 960 mm). Confusion arises because some manufacturers continue to label the new, 950-mm brush with the old number, although the new part number 2G-04-25-30-950 or 960 is more correct.
2. Quantity, where the classic design of the OVS-25 cleaning mechanism involves the use of 12 brushes per sieve bank (a total of 24 brushes per machine). To increase cleaning efficiency, specialists at Zavod Moroza modernized this unit in 2008, increasing the number of brushes to 16 per bank (a total of 32 brushes per machine). There are also models from other manufacturers where the number of brushes was increased to 14 per bank (a total of 28 brushes per machine).
