The waste auger OVI 10.010 is used in the screenings auger assembly (general assembly designation OVI 10.000) of OVS-25 grain cleaning machines and their modifications.

The OVI 10.010 auger, known as the "female" part, is the inner section of the composite auger responsible for removing waste from under the sieve banks. Its task is to collect the screenings and waste sorted by the sieve banks and transport them to the discharge opening. In this opening, it connects to the OVI 10.020 auger (the "male" part), which then moves the waste out of the machine.

Structurally, it is a steel shaft with a total length of 1730 mm. A continuous helical spiral (flighting) with a diameter of 125 mm is welded onto its working part (1500 mm long). The key feature of the OVI 10.010 ("female") auger is that its shaft has a tubular (hollow) construction, which allows the shaft of the external OVI 10.020 ("male") auger to be inserted into it for transmitting rotation.
