The waste auger OVI 10.020 is used in the screenings auger assembly (general assembly designation OVI 10.000) of OVS-25 grain cleaning machines and their modifications.

The OVI 10.020 auger, known as the "male" part, is the outer section of the composite auger responsible for removing waste. Its main task is to receive the flow of waste from the inner auger (the "female" OVI 10.010) and transport it out of the machine through an extension pipe (OVI 10.030).

Structurally, it is a steel shaft with a total length of 1440 mm. A continuous helical spiral (flighting) with a diameter of 125 mm is welded onto its working part (~1050 mm long). The key feature of the OVI 10.020 ("male") auger is that its solid shaft is inserted into the tubular (hollow) shaft of the "female" auger (OVI 10.010), receiving rotation from it.
