The OVI 02.270 rod is used in the sieve cleaning mechanism assembly (OVI 02.150) of OVS-25 grain cleaning machines and their modifications.

The OVI 02.270 rod is one of the key elements of the brush mechanism drive. It is a steel rod (shaft) that connects to the eccentric shaft (OVI 02.160) and transmits reciprocating motion to the connecting rods (OVI 02.190), which in turn move the brush frames.

Two powerful springs (ZAV 10.58.604) are installed on the rod, ensuring the correct kinematics of the drive - they perform a damping (absorbing) function and return the mechanism to its original position, preventing impacts and breakdowns. The rod is supplied assembled with a head (OVI 02.103), which serves for its mounting.
