Shaft OVI 05.993 is used in the feeder reducers (assembly "Lower Section OVI 05.110") of OVS-25 grain cleaning machines and their modifications.

The feeder reducer shaft (OVI 05.993) is a stepped steel shaft that serves as the output shaft of the bevel gear reducer, which drives the feeders. Its task is to receive the reduced rotation from the large bevel gear and transmit it to the drive sprocket of the scraper chain.

Structurally, the shaft is made of steel, has keyways for fixing the gear and the sprocket, as well as bearing seats. A driven bevel gear Z=29 (or another, depending on the modification) is mounted on one side of this shaft, and the feeder chain drive sprocket Z=7 is on the other side. The shaft is installed in the reducer housing and rotates on bearings.
