Shaft ZP 02.617 (long shaft of the feeder reducer) is used in the feeder reducer (assembly "Cover with Reducers ZP 02.300") of ZM-60 grain throwers and their modifications.

The feeder reducer shaft ZP 02.617 (long) is a stepped steel shaft that serves as the input (drive) shaft for both bevel gear reducers of the feeder. Its main task is to receive rotation from the central drive sprocket (ZS 1038) and transmit it to the two small bevel gears (ZPN 6011), which, in turn, rotate the large bevel gear wheels on the output shafts of the reducers.

Structurally, the shaft is made of Steel 45, has three keyways (one central for the drive sprocket, two on the ends for the bevel gears), and two threaded ends for securing parts with nuts. The shaft is installed on 11206 bearings in the housings of both reducers ZP 02.106. Wear of the bearing seats or keyways on this shaft can lead to malfunctions in both feeders.
