The OVI 05.106 sprocket is used in the feeder drive assembly ("Lower Section OVI 05.110") of OVS-25 grain cleaning machines and their modifications.

The OVI 05.106 sprocket (z=12) is the driven part of the feeder drive's dog clutch. It is installed on the reducer's output shaft (H093.05.000-227-1V1) and its function is to engage with the driving half-coupling (OVI 05.105), which sits rigidly on the same shaft. When the operator engages the feeder drive, the half-coupling slides along the shaft and its dogs (lugs) lock with the sprocket. This is how the sprocket receives torque, transmits it further, and the feeder chains (01.189.000) begin to rotate.

Structurally, it is a sprocket with 12 teeth (z=12), an inner bore (ø20 mm), and a chain pitch of 38 mm (t=38). On its frontal face, there are lugs (dogs) for engaging with the half-coupling. Wear of this sprocket's teeth leads to chain slippage and a drop in grain feeding efficiency.
