Frame ZP 01.010A for ZM-60U/90U Grain Loaders
The ZP 01.010 A frame is the basic load-bearing metal structure for the modernized ZM-60U and ZM-90U series grain loaders manufactured by us. The engineering architecture of this frame is absolutely identical for both machine modifications, but the increased productivity of the ZM-90U version is achieved exclusively through the installation of more powerful and larger working units (an enlarged trimmer, a wider intake chamber, and a reinforced elevator), while the spatial load-bearing base remains unchanged and unified.
In the unit's overall kinematic scheme, the frame acts as the main spatial framework that reliably unites all travel, drive, and working systems into a single, cohesive mechanism. The reinforced two-wheel front travel system ZP 01.020, the self-propulsion mechanism ZP 07.100, and the rear semi-axles ZP 01.220 are attached to its lower section, while the upper superstructure serves as a reliable pedestal for mounting the loading conveyor, counter-drives, and the electrical cabinet.
The main engineering task of this massive structure is to confidently withstand significant static loads from the weight of all attachments (which are heavier in the 90-series model) and to rigidly resist dynamic deformation from torsion and bending during the movement of the unit over uneven threshing floor surfaces. Unlike the frames of classic grain loaders from previous generations, the ZM-60U/90U metal structure was designed from the outset with modern intensive loads in mind and is adapted for the installation of updated, reinforced assemblies.
Technical Specifications of Frame ZM-60U/90U (ZP 01.010A)
- Catalog Number / Marking: ZP 01.010A
- Component Type: Basic load-bearing welded spatial structure (platform)
- Application: Modernized ZM-60U, ZM-90U series grain loaders
- Material: Structural carbon steel (thick-walled profile and sheet rolled steel)
Structurally, the ZP 01.010A frame is formed as a rigid welded truss made of massive steel sections — channels, profile pipes, and angles. Since the "U" series models (especially the 90-series) are equipped with heavier and larger working components to ensure a productivity of 90 t/h, the architecture of this platform is based on an increased cross-section of load-bearing beams and additional stiffening ribs in zones of maximum stress. This allows the metal structure to effectively resist torque and bending moments, maintaining ideal straightness even while moving the machine, which weighs about 1400 kg, over uneven concrete surfaces.
The lower projection of the platform features base mounting points for integrating the undercarriage. The tail area is equipped with horizontal platforms to which the cast-iron housings of the rear semi-axle bearings ZP 01.220 are securely bolted, and the self-propulsion mechanism is installed. The front part of the frame has a purposeful narrowing with a reinforced support point — the guide system of our two-wheel front travel ZP 01.020 is mounted here. The frame plate also includes a standard mount for a permanently engaged belt brake, which ensures the fixation of the steering mechanism.
The upper superstructure of the platform serves as a mounting pedestal for the loading scraper conveyor, counter-drives, and the electrical cabinet. However, a distinct engineering advantage of the modern frame's geometry is the possibility of adapting it for side trimmer placement, allowing the discharge unit to rotate freely by 270 degrees. Factory welding of the structure in special spatial jigs guarantees the precise alignment of all mounting holes; maintaining this base is a critical condition for the proper operation of all chain and V-belt drives of the unit, preventing shaft misalignment and accelerated wear of drive elements.
Adjacent Assemblies and Components of Frame ZM-60U/90U
Since the ZP 01.010 A frame acts as the central platform of the unit, key working, drive, and guidance systems of the machine make direct contact with it. During assembly, the following are mounted onto this metal structure:
- 2-Wheel Front Travel ZP 01.020
Installed on the front support point. Together with it, elements of the belt brake mechanism are mounted on special frame mounts, specifically the belt itself ZP 01.000.1, the lever ZP 01.000.2, and the handle ZP 01.000.1 - Rear Travel ZP 01.220 (2 pcs)
Rigidly bolted to the horizontal tail platforms of the platform - Steering System
Includes the steering support ZP 01.011.3, the handwheel OVI 01.022.006, the drive chain PR-19.05-31.8, and the sprocket shaft ZP 01.330 - Upper Working Equipment
Loading scraper conveyor, counter-drives, electrical cabinet, and trimmer (installed on the spatial superstructure)
The ZP 01.010A frame, in its basic execution, already contains all reinforcements for 90 t/h class machines; however, its spatial architecture allows for further technological adaptation of the equipment to specific enterprise processes. If necessary, the platform can be prepared for the mounting of a modern compact motor-reducer and a self-propulsion mechanism equipped with a differential (on our new models, this unit has been installed as standard since 2012 instead of the classic travel gearbox ZP 07.000). The frame geometry also allows it to be adapted for a hopper-type grain loader (where a receiving hopper is mounted instead of a scraper feeder system), or for a transition to larger radius wheels or pneumatic tires for operation on challenging ground surfaces.
Engineering Feasibility of Upgrading the Load-Bearing Base
A decision to replace the frame is usually made when the old metal structure suffers serious geometric deformations from impacts or accumulates critical metal fatigue after many years of intense vibrations. Continuing to operate a unit with a base that is misaligned or repeatedly re-welded in "garage" conditions is technically irrational, as any violation of the load-bearing frame's linearity automatically leads to the loss of spatial alignment for all assemblies and shafts. As a result, V-belts and drive chains begin to operate misaligned, causing intense wear, regular slipping under load, and destruction of bearing groups.
The transition to a new ZM-60U/90U series frame guarantees a rigid and linearly aligned foundation, as the use of industrial welding jigs ensures the correct positioning of every mounting surface. Investing in such a base allows you to confidently accommodate the heavier working equipment of modern units and create conditions under which the machine's kinematics will operate in balance, without parasitic misalignment and with the maximum calculated service life for every bearing and chain.
Buy Reinforced ZM-60U/90U Frame from Zavod Moroza
Zavod Moroza's long-term experience in agricultural machinery modernization proves that the evolution of grain loaders and the transition to intensive loads require a different approach to the reliability of the unit as a whole. No matter how high-quality new bearings, drive chains, or travel shafts may be, their service life will drop rapidly if the basic load-bearing platform is unable to maintain correct spatial alignment, as old, metal-fatigued, or misaligned "garage-repaired" frames simply cannot withstand the dynamic weight of modern, large-scale working components. This is why the decision to buy a new modernized ZP 01.010A frame is a fundamentally and economically justified step — you receive an ideally flat, extremely rigid spatial base that is guaranteed to handle the extreme conditions of a modern threshing floor.
We strictly control the quality of thick-walled rolled steel and welding geometry in industrial jigs to completely eliminate the risks of torsion and bending deformations during transport or machine operation.
