The ZPT 1007 hub for the ZM-60 front wheel is a cast iron element that serves as the base for mounting and ensuring the free rotation of the grain thrower's steering (front) wheel. Unlike the rear drive hub, it does not transmit torque but functions as a support for the freely rolling wheel.

Structurally, it is a casting made of SCh 20 material with a square flange for mounting the disc of the rubber-coated wheel ZPT 1-6-2. It is installed on the axle of the steering fork and rotates on roller bushings. The presence of a hole for a grease nipple allows for periodic lubrication of the roller bushings. Wear of the hub manifests as wheel play, which worsens the steerability of the grain thrower.
