The front travel lifting assembly is a ready-to-install set of parts that ensures the operation of the height adjustment mechanism on our modern ZM series (ZM-60U, ZM-90U, ZM-120U) and ZMB series (ZMB-90U, ZMB-120U) grain loaders. This block integrates all moving and power elements of the drive - a massive lifting screw with a ratchet wheel (daisy), a special support nut, and a handle with an installed pawl. The format of supply as a single assembly without guide forks is a rational solution for repair when the metal structures of the struts remain intact, but the worn-out kinematics and the threaded pair require complete replacement.

The assembly for the new generation of machines has received design improvements calculated for higher loads and a longer service life. To facilitate the process of adjusting the height of the front part of the massive unit, an elongated straight handle is used, which acts as a more effective lever and requires less physical effort from the operator. The special support nut has a slightly modified geometry - it is considered interchangeable with parts of previous generations; however, when mounting it on grain loaders of third-party manufacturers or homemade machines, possible discrepancies in the location of mounting holes on the fork platform should be taken into account. Installing parts as a factory assembly guarantees the correct mating of the new trapezoidal thread and clear operation of the ratchet mechanism (daisy and pawl) immediately after installation.

To optimize the workflow and reduce the operator's physical fatigue, the mechanism is equipped with a long straight handle (ZP 01.060). Thanks to its modified geometry, it acts as an enlarged lever, which makes it easier to overcome the resistance of the massive unit while adjusting the feeder height. The ratchet assembly with a safety pawl (ZP 01.401) is already mounted and adjusted for correct engagement with the daisy teeth.

The support nut in this assembly has an updated, more durable configuration. It remains interchangeable with standard forks of grain loaders of previous series. However, in case of installing this kit on machines of third-party manufacturers or units after atypical garage repairs, it is necessary to check the coordinates of the mounting holes on the upper fork platform, as they may not coincide and will require minor adjustments during installation.
