The upgraded trimmer has increased dimensions, thickened sidewall metal, a large receiving chamber and balanced coils, as well as reinforced bearing housings and an endless chevron belt 400 mm wide with special deposits (straight or herringbone), which allows, using a 5.5 kW engine at 1500 rpm, to confidently and accurately throw grain at a distance of up to 20 meters or a height of 8 meters. These indicators are quite sufficient for performing the main work of the ZM-60 grain thrower on the farm: loading grain trucks, trailers, containers up to 4 meters high, as well as for filling or unloading warehouses, shoveling and blowing grain (grain is separated from light impurities during flight), creating grain piles in open areas for temporary storage, piling grain up to 6 meters high or, conversely, mechanically spreading grain along the current in a thin layer for drying.

The trimmer rotates 90 degrees in both directions, is well fixed and easy to operate - this ensures a more uniform grain distribution, allows you to load grain continuously and quickly adjust the angle, distance to the throwing height - the process is optimized, and the grain flow is well regulated, in addition, the design features of the trimmer, chute, nose and their connections allow you to avoid all possible blockages inside and minimize crushing of the material. Only 2 passes are needed to collect grain in a pile with one ridge, in addition, now this can be done much faster and with much less effort.

ZM-60, like other grain throwers produced by Zavod Moroz, has a reinforced frame raised up by 50 cm, double forward travel (front chassis of 2 wheels), large rear wheels with a diameter of 500 mm, controlled by a reliable travel reducer with a differential and an electric motor with a power of 1.1 kW at 1000 rpm - these design solutions provide additional convenience, stability and maneuverability during operation, as well as noticeable stability of all processes, in addition, a sufficiently high level of rigidity of the machine ensures a reduction in vibration and noise.

The feed section is designed for stable and long-term operation in difficult conditions - it has 250 mm wide scrapers, which best meets the requirements with an increased capture width of 5.2 meters. It uses an electric motor with a power of 4 kW at 1000 rpm, additional bearing housings of the feed reducer, reinforced chains of the conveyor and feeders - all this allows to significantly extend the service life of the unit, confidently collecting grain or other bulk materials, working for a long time in intensive operating conditions even with materials "atypical" for ZM-60, such as building mixtures, slag or crushed stone.
