The set consisting of the power screw ZP 01.070 and the special support nut ZP 01.101 forms the basic screw pair of the front travel lifting mechanism (ZP 01.020) on modernized ZM series (ZM-60U, ZM-90U, ZM-120U) and ZMB series (ZMB-90U, ZMB-120U) grain loaders. This tandem of parts is the main link in the assembly, absorbing the static and dynamic mass of the unit's front frame during the vertical movement of the inner fork and wheelbase. Receiving torque from the manual drive, the trapezoidal thread of the screw interacts with the internal profile of the nut, converting rotational movement into linear vertical travel. This allows the machine operator to adjust the working clearance of the feeders above the threshing floor or raise the frame for free transportation of the machine.

The trapezoidal thread has a deep profile and an increased contact area of the threads, which allows for uniform distribution of high axial loads from the mass of the unit's front part. In addition to strength, such a thread possesses self-locking properties — it reliably maintains the set frame height without the need for additional locking mechanisms, preventing involuntary lowering of the feeders.

In the standard factory configuration, the steel screw works in tandem with a grey cast iron nut, forming a classic "steel-cast iron" friction pair. The microstructure of cast iron contains graphite inclusions that act as a solid lubricant under load — this reduces the overall coefficient of friction and prevents galling on the threads even under conditions of oil starvation. In the realities of work on a threshing floor, this property is particularly important, because excessive application of heavy greases (such as Litol or grease) to the thread quickly leads to the adhesion of grain dust and sand — this mixture then turns into an abrasive paste that acts like sandpaper and destroys the metal. That is why a cast iron nut is less demanding regarding external lubrication and maintains smooth shaft movement without excess grease. However, for machines that operate more extremely, on broken sites with frequent impact and vibration loads (where brittle cast iron may crack), we can manufacture sets with a reinforced steel nut. Since a "steel-on-steel" friction pair has higher resistance and is more prone to seizing (thread jamming), this modification requires stricter lubrication control. To avoid dry friction, we cut additional lubrication grooves on the internal profile of the steel nut, which accumulate and retain grease directly in the contact zone, isolating it from external dust.

If such a profile or keyway connection is additionally welded, an ultra-durable structure is formed, calculated for extreme torsional loads during height adjustment on uneven surfaces.
