Installation requires exclusively smooth, careful pressing via a screw or hydraulic press, preceded by cleaning the seating bore and applying a thin layer of oil. Furthermore, consistency grease must be fed through the hub's zerk fitting regularly-before and after the operating season-protecting the porous structure from heat-induced drying and safeguarding the shaft from wear. Although the centering collar on the flange aids tight disk seating, checking the torque on the four M12 wheel bolts remains mandatory; uniform cross-bolting eliminates disk skewing.
