The grain hopper loader or grain thrower ZMB-90U manufactured by Zavod Moroz, called "Kovcheg", was developed on the basis of ZM-90U - the most successful and versatile machine of our production. It has received all its advantages, but with one difference - instead of wings/feeders that capture grain on the surface, it has a receiving hopper where the grain is loaded, and then everything is like a conventional grain thrower - it moves with the help of a conveyor to the trimmer, which throws it through a guide pipe and a nose at high speed. Operating principle of the grain loader ZMB-90:

1. ZMB-90U "Kovcheg" drives up to the required location
2. The bunker is lowered into the working position and rests on the surface
3. A truck, loader or tractor with grain drives up to the bunker
4. Grain from the truck, trailer or bucket is unloaded into the bunker
5. ZMB-90U "Kovcheg" throws this grain with a powerful stream into a grain truck, warehouse or forms a pile for storage

The ZMB-90U hopper is made of high-quality steel, has a reinforced frame and a special pyramidal shape, which ensures free gravity movement of grain. The increased thickness of the wall metal and anti-corrosion coating increases resistance to mechanical damage and wear. Due to its dimensions (1576x3020x1150 mm), the hopper offers a universal volume and design, which facilitates continuous grain supply, significantly reduces spillage and effectively synchronizes with the performance of most target machines and other transport. We also provide the ability to change these parameters to meet specific customer requirements.

The grain from the bunker is picked up by a conveyor - it is a vertical type, 400 mm wide, with a strong chain and corresponding scrapers, its movement is controlled by an electric motor with a power of 4 kW at 1000 rpm. The conveyor pours the grain into the receiving chamber of the trimmer, which, by the way, has been modernized, and from there it throws the grain at high speed into a guide pipe (chute) with a controlled nose - a continuous stream of grain is formed, which can be 20 meters long or 10 meters high, which is quite enough to load grain trucks of any height, railway cars, containers, barges, etc.

The upgraded trimmer deserves special attention because it was developed for all grain throwers manufactured by Zavod Moroz specifically for the needs of Ukrainian farmers. It has an enlarged receiving chamber, thick sidewalls, high-quality and reliable bearings and perfectly balanced reels. The design features of the trimmer allow to minimize grain crushing, while a 500 mm wide chevron belt with direct surfacing or with a "herringbone" type is used - it rotates at high speed and throws the grain further with the help of a 7.5 kW electric motor at 1500 rpm. Zavod Moroz engineers have developed a unique design of the trimmer and frame, allowing to reduce noise and vibration during operation, and have also significantly simplified the process of belt replacement (from now on, no "pullers" or any complex manipulations are needed, the work is done quickly and safely, which significantly reduces maintenance time and reduces the load on workers).

Other features of the grain loader with a bunker ZMB-90U manufactured by Zavod Moroz are the use of an electric motor with a power of 1.1 kW at 1000 rpm in the travel mechanism, soft rear wheels, a front chassis with 2 wheels, a long chute, a lighting device, new-style bearing units, protection of moving parts of engines with casings and a raised frame.
